Medical Mission at Philippine Cerebral Palsy Inc.

Last August 29, our club, the Rotary Club of Taguig Fort Bonifacio, partnered with two other clubs in our District 3830, for a medical and dental mission to patients of the Philippine Cerebral Palsy, Inc. (PCPI) in Makati City.

A corridor of the Center, with some arriving patients.

One of the newly arriving patients...

At the waiting area, patients were either waiting for their turn to see Rehabilitation physicians and aides, dentists, or done seeing them, waiting for the giving of take home freebies.

New clubmate, Era Eguia, chose this among her favorite photos in her profile. The boy should be a case of more severe case of palsy...

A dental clean up, done by members of the Kalookan chapter of the Philippine Dental Society.

There was also free hair cut service to patients. Additional smile in their faces...

Packs of freebies for take home of patients. Various companies and individuals donated bread, Milo, vitamin supplements inside the packs. There were also merienda/snacks in the morning, then lunch.

Our Club President Meann de Leon. giving those packs to each patient.

The sponsoring rotary clubs gave certificate of appreciation to the officers and members of the Kalookan Dental Society for their time and effort to help the patients.

The Medical Director of PCPI in turn, gave their certificate of appreciation to the sponsoring rotary clubs and Kalookan Dental Society. President Meann receiving the certificate.

the usual group photo of our club, some friends.

I left before lunch was served, and Past President Norlan de Leon and his friend came.

Service above self, zero political credit. Once again shown by rotary clubs, contributing our time and/or money. Me, I am deficient in money, I could not even pay my club dues on schedule. But I have time to spare and share for humanitarian projects like this.

Thanks and kudos, President Meann, and to your classmates in two other clubs that day. To the officers of PCPI, Kalookan Dental Society.
